Wheatridge Park is seeking a FT Medication aide to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for proper medication dosage, medication monitoring and appropriate medication storage.
- Administer medications within scope of practice and job description.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living.
- Maintains resident stability by checking vital signs and weight.
- Provides residents with quality personal hygiene.
- Provides resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials.
- Answers residents’ call lights and requests and transports residents.
- Reports observations of the resident to nursing supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid and active state-issued CNA and CMA certification
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, federal and state regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated dependability and punctuality
